Far and away, the biggest class news lately has been our Readers' Tea, which was Friday, May 11th. On that day students welcomed in their families and all of this year's Reading Volunteers, so that we could show off our skills and celebrate the amazing growth and progress that each child has made. Students had prepared thank you gifts and cards for our volunteers and had selected their three favorite books from the Emergent Reading Program. We practiced over several days (and got help from our Second Grade friends in Mrs. Thibault's class!) and we finally ready for the big event. Talk about proud!!!!!!!!!!
