Our Reading Program Volunteer Mr. Gary (Gary Thompson) was selected Community Member of the Year by the Colchester Education Association! Mr. Gary came in every Monday and read with our class, even though his son was a First Grade Student in Mrs. Hughes' class. Mr. Gary was also able to secure $1500.00 in IBM grant money to purchase more books for the UMS Emergent Reading Program. Thank you, Mr. Gary!
