Farewell, Akshaya!

Our dear friend Akshaya's last day at school was Friday; she and her Mom have moved to Toronto to be with her dad and with other family members.  Although we all will miss Akshaya very much, this is great news for her and her family!  Akshaya turned 6 on Sunday, so her Mom brought in a birthday cake for the class Friday.  Look what's on it!  Students made cards and shared their memories with Akshaya and we'll be staying in touch with her by email and by letters.  Good luck, Akshaya!
