Wow! We are off to a great start. The first three days of school, your children played and worked hard! We are focussing on learning our school and class rules and procedures, and getting to know each other. A couple of students already know all of their classmates' names! We're mixing small group work in the classroom with "Choice" (play) time and whole group experiences. Mr. Antonicci has come in each day. We saw Mr. T. at PE, Mrs. Flanagan and Mrs. Johnson in the Library, and Mrs. Derry at Art. We enjoyed lots of outdoor recess playtime. The class is really benefitting from the help Mrs. Cullen provides, as well as that provided by Ms. Post, our SPED Instructional Assistant. (I'll be posting more information about Ms. Post soon!)
